A plain-language overview of what this website collects, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website is operated by QWIKIT Software Solutions Inc., doing business as QWIKIT. You can reach the founding team through the contact page.
What we collect
Three things. First, if you use the request-access form: your name, phone number, business email, reason for contact and the description you write about yourself. Second, basic technical data our hosting provider processes to deliver and secure the site, such as your IP address and browser type. Third, only if you accept analytics cookies: usage data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. The site also loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google to fetch them.
How we use it
To respond to your request, follow up about QWIKIT, keep the site working and secure, and, only with your consent, understand how the site is used. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it. The Data Usage Policy explains who processes it, where it is stored and how long we keep it.
Cookies and analytics
Our code does not set any cookies. It remembers your analytics choice in your browser’s local storage. If you choose Accept, we load Google Analytics, which sets the cookies _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier (they last up to two years) and sends usage data to Google so we can count visits, see which pages and sources bring people here, and measure how many people submit the request form. We turn off Google signals and ad personalization, and we never send your name, email, phone number or message to analytics. If you choose Decline, analytics never loads. You can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings in the footer, which stops analytics and removes its cookies. Accepting or declining cookies controls analytics only; it does not change how the rest of the site works.
Who else sees it
Microsoft Azure hosts this site, stores request-access submissions and sends our emails. Google supplies the typefaces and, if you accept, analytics. Our founding team receives your submission by email. Azure may process and store data outside Canada, including in the United States. Details are in the Data Usage Policy.
Email communication
When you contact QWIKIT by email, the information you provide is used to respond to your inquiry and continue the conversation you requested.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you have sent us, withdraw your consent to analytics, or raise a privacy concern, by contacting either member of the founding team through the contact page. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
Changes
If we change how this website handles information, we will update this policy and its date before the change takes effect.
